A trip to the 4th biggest Island in the world is in search of exotic wildlife, and discovering the contrasting and spectacular cultures Landscape. With 80 percent of its species found nowhere else on earth, including birds, chameleons a lemurs, Madagascar is a wildlife lover's dream. Trekking through forest reserves and nocturnal walks bring you closer to rare nocturnal species, and walks in the jungle reveal the fauna and flora of an exceptional rate of endemicity. Discover the east and south of Madagascar, explore the rainforests and spend time with a wide variety of local wildlife, including the world's largest living lemur called "Indri Indri" and interact with local communities in order to better understand the daily life of the Malagasy population.
D1: Antananarivo Meet and greet by our team at the international airport of Antananarivo and transfer at your hotel.
Overnight at Niaouly
Day 2: Antananarivo – Andasibe - 140 km (+/-3h) After breakfast, leave the Highlands and head the east part the Island by the national Road 2 to reach Andasibe.
First Stop in Marozevo to visit the Pereyras reserve and meet the geckos, butterflies, crocodiles, reptiles and chameleons, the visit takes about 1 hour. Arrive in Andasibe and installation in your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the private reserve of Vakona to see other species of lemurs and other animals such as crocodiles and the famous fousa fousana.
Overnight at Sahatandra
Day 3: Analamazaotra reserve After breakfast, visit the Analamazaotra reserve with a local guide in search of the biggest of the lemurs, the Indri- indri. With a barely visible tail, black and white markings and a surprised teddy–bear face, this Lemur is one of the few animals in the world that cannot survive in captivity. There are another 11 species of lemur to spot as you walk through the rainforest. You may find a troop of Grey Bamboo lemurs, Common Brown lemur, Diademed Sifaka. Birdwatchers should look out for the Velvet Asity, Blue Coua and Nuthatch Vanga and many more endemic species. Analamazaotra reserve is home to many reptiles, invertebrates, and some of Madagascar’s over a thousand orchid species.
A nocturnal walk will be organized in late evening in the forest surrounding the reserve with a local guide. You will see a variety of the nocturnal lemurs: mouse lemurs, white footed sportive lemur, fat-tailed dwarf lemur, as well as the woolly lemur.

Day 4: Mitsinjo Forest After breakfast, visit the Mitsinjo reserve. Mitsinjo reserve also called Analamazaotra Forest Station is one of the jewels of Madagascar's biodiversity, Mitsinjo is managed by a local association of the same name, working for solidarity tourism. In this forest station, it is possible to admire the region’s flagship species, the indri, and practice birdwatching, through the proposed tours.

Day 5: Andasibe – Antsirabe Breakfast at the hotel and depart to Antsirabe through the green and luxuriant vegetation of the East and head the south to Antsirabe, across the highland landscape with its beautiful view of rice fields that are good for pictures Stop in Ambatolampy for a moment, located beside the foot of the massif of the Ankaratra to visit the aluminium foundry which produces among other things aluminum kitchen utensils.

Day 6: Antsirabe – Ranomafana After breakfast, head to Ranomafana, through Ambositra, which is the capital of the woodcarving handcrafts before going to Biodiversity, then entering the area of the rainforest.
A nocturnal walk will be organized for a sighting of a species of night lemur (microcebus), then a camel/frog sighting etc...

Day 7: Ranomafana national Park – Ambalavao After breakfast, visit the Ranomafana National Park.
Classified Terrestrial National Park World Heritage Site with its dense rainforest at low altitude (600-800 m), its dense rainforest at medium altitude (800-1400m), its bamboo forest, its marsh; plant and animal species such as Pandanus, Varecia variegata variegate, Ecrevisses, Limnogale Mergulus choose the wildlife area as habitat. The park is home of several species of lemurs, insects, birds and endemic plants. Visiting the park is an unmissable visit. In fact, it will introduce you to a unique fauna composed of rare species unfortunately threatened. For those who like nature and wildlife, you won't be disappointed: many birds, butterflies, bats and lemurs live in these forests. You will also find unique plant species that grow only in this park: Diverse medicinal plants as well as a variety of orchids and carnivorous plants that litter the soil and trees.
After the visit, head to Ambalavao

Day 8: Ambalavao- Ranohira Breakfast at the hotel and head to Ranohira.
The charm of Ambalavao is the beautiful Betsileo House in varangua and the many paper and wild silk workshop. Ambalavao is also well-known for its wines.
With its market place spread over 2 hectares, it houses the biggest market of zebus of the island.
After the brief visit of the antemoro silk and paper workshops, continuation towards Ranohira and visit of the Anja reserve.
Anja Reserve proposes several visits ranging from 30 minutes to several hours. The meeting with the famous Maki or Lemur catta is always guaranteed. Indeed, this symbolic animal of Madagascar is particularly abundant in this zone. It is besides the only species of diurnal primate living in this reserve.
After the visit, head to Ranohira via a very unusual landscape, called the Ihorombe Plateau.
The Isalo is also called the Malagasy Colorado as the Isalo National Park is a natural rocky massif with a very particular relief that is reminiscent of the great American West. This window-shaped rock, called the window of Isalo lets the sun pass in its direct path. You will be able to observe one of the most beautiful sunsets of your life. An unforgettable memory, eyes filled with the warm colors that extinguish on the Isalo.

Day 9: Ranohira – Isalo national Park After breakfast, transfer to the entrance of the Isalo National Park to discover its fauna and flora.
The Isalo National Terrestrial Park is a unique ecological representation within the Madagascar National Parks network: a ruin form massif of continental sandstone dating from the Jurassic with its typical geomorphology and endemic rock vegetation (Aloes, Euphorbias, Pachypodes, Kalanchoe, etc.) and the specific fauna of this exceptional habitat (rock reptiles, the vast majority of which are endemic).
Overnight at H1 Hotel
Day 10: Ranohira – Tuléar- Ifaty After breakfast, your will be driven to Ifaty through Tuléar. Tulear, also called Toliara, is the capital of the southern part of Madagascar. You will discover a warm and welcoming population in a setting beyond the ordinary. It is the culmination of the National Road 7 and the long road trip from the capital, you will enjoy relaxing on the region's dream beaches.
First stop at Zombitse vohibasia Park.
The Zombitse Vohibasia complex is famous for its richness in rare bird species, endemic to Madagascar and/or the region. The Park is part of the World Bank 1992 Endemic Bird Zone N° 093. It also includes 08 lemur species, some of which are almost threatened like the case of the Phaner furcifer pallescens. Due to its rich biodiversity, Zombitse Vohibasia National Park is a top research area.
After the visit, continuation to Ifaty and second stop at The Ambondronala Mangrove.
Located at halfway between Tuléar and Ifaty, the The Ambondronala Mangrove, also called Honko reserve is an important ecological mangrove reserve. There are 7 mangrove species and 35 rare bird species to see.
After the visit, you will be transferred to Ifaty
Overnight at Bamboo Club
Day 11& Day 12 & Day 13: Ifaty Definitely one of the most beautiful seaside destinations in southern Madagascar, Ifaty is a resort located about 30 kilometres from the town of Tulear.
These 03 days are especially reserved for relaxing and can be if you wish, for the activities proposed by the hotel.
Overnight at Bamboo Club
Day 14: Ifaty- Tulear- Antananarivo After Breakfast you will be transferred to the airport of Tuléar according to the flight schedule, for your flight back to Antananarivo.
Arrive in Antananarivo you will be transferred to your hotel Overnight at chalet des Roses
Day 15: Antananarivo Breakfast at the hotel, Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight Before reaching the airport, a short stop at the handcraft market for travel memories.
