PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers are PADI Instructors who have earned at least five PADI Specialty Instructor certifications.
(PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy and Project AWARE Specialty Instructor certifications do not count toward this status.)
To qualify for the Master Scuba Diver Trainer level, an instructor must:
Be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor with a current PADI membership renewal
Be certified as a PADI Specialty Instructor in at least five specialties
Have certified at least 25 divers as PADI divers
To be recognized for this status, an appropriate application with a photo must be submitted to PADI. PADI will then issue the Master Scuba Diver Trainer license after receipt of the applicable fees.
