The PADI Divemaster course is your entry point into professional diving training.
The recreational diving community expects certain characteristics from someone who has achieved the PADI Divemaster level. These include:

As you probably know, many PADI Divemasters continue on to PADI Instructor training. The training and experience you gain during the PADI Divemaster course will directly benefit you on your path to becoming a professional dive instructor. And to support you in this initial phase of your career as a dive professional, PADI has developed various training tools, such as the Divemaster Crew Pack.
As a PADI Divemaster, you are authorized to:
Plan, conduct, and supervise shore- and boat-based diving activities
Assist PADI Instructors in the delivery of PADI programs
To participate in the PADI Divemaster course, you must:
Be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
Be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
Have at least 40 dives logged in your personal logbook at the start of the course. Proof of 60 completed dives is required for certification.
Be at least 18 years old at the start of the course.
Provide the instructor with a medical certificate confirming that you are fit to dive.

As a PADI Divemaster, you will be able to:
Assist a PADI Instructor as a certified assistant
Supervise participants in PADI courses and programs
Provide general supervision of training-related and non-training-related diving activities
Train and certify PADI Skin Divers
Administer the PADI Scuba Review program for certified divers
Attend PADI Instructor Development Courses
Upon successful completion of the PADI Divemaster course, you will receive a certification card and a wall certificate. This certification also makes you a PADI member. Membership includes the following benefits, among others: a subscription to PADI's magazine "The Undersea Journal," member prices for certain PADI materials and services, and the option to purchase professional indemnity insurance.

Costs
The course can be started at any time; duration is at least 3-4 weeks.
Price includes all training dives on the beach, 2 boat days (4-6 dives), equipment (own equipment is recommended but not required), use of the classroom and pool at any time, ongoing theoretical and practical support from our instructors, a Divemaster crew pack in your own language, and certification.
