A trip to the 4th biggest Island in the world is in search of exotic wildlife, and discovering the contrasting and spectacular cultures Landscape. With 80 percent of its species found nowhere else on earth, including birds, chameleons a lemurs, Madagascar is a wildlife lover's dream. The north of Madagascar is characterized by rainforests full of endemic species, this part of The Island orchestrates a generous, delicate and spectacular character.
Day 1: Antananarivo Meet and greet by our team at the international airport of Antananarivo and transfer at your hotel.
Overnight at Niaouly
Day 2: Antananarivo – Andasibe - 140 km (+/-3h) After breakfast, leave the Highlands and head east on the national Road 2 to reach Andasibe.
First Stop in Marozevo to visit the Pereyras reserve and meet the geckos, butterflies, crocodiles, reptiles and chameleons, the visit takes about 1 hour. Arrive in Andasibe and check-in in your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the private reserve of Vakona to see other species of lemurs and other animals such as crocodiles and the famous fousa fousana.
Overnight at Sahatandra
Day 3: Analamazaotra reserve After breakfast, visit the Analamazaotra reserve with a local guide in search of the biggest of the lemurs, the Indri- indri. With a barely visible tail, black and white markings and a surprised teddy–bear face, this Lemur is one of the few animals in the world that cannot survive in captivity. There are another 11 species of lemur to spot as you walk through the rainforest. You may find a troop of Grey Bamboo lemurs, Common Brown lemur, Diademed Sifaka. Birdwatchers should look out for the Velvet Asity, Blue Coua and Nuthatch Vanga and many more endemic species. Analamazaotra reserve is home to many reptiles, invertebrates, and some of Madagascar’s over a thousand orchid species.
A nocturnal walk will be organized in late evening in the forest surrounding the reserve with a local guide. You will see a variety of the nocturnal lemurs: mouse lemurs, white footed sportive lemur, fat-tailed dwarf lemur, as well as the woolly lemur.
Overnight at Sahatandra
Day 4: Mitsinjo Forest After breakfast, visit the Mitsinjo reserve .
Mitsinjo Reserve also called Analamazaotra Forest Station is one of the jewels of Madagascar's biodiversity, Mitsinjo is managed by a local association of the same name, working for solidarity tourism. In this forest station, it is possible to admire the region’s flagship species, the indri, and practice birdwatching, through the proposed tours
Day 5 Andasibe – Antananarivo After breakfast, you will be driven back to Antananarivo.
Overnight at Niaouly
Day 6: Antananarivo- Ankarafantsika After breakfast, leaving for a long trip by the national Road 4 to Ankarafantsika.
Overnight at Blue Vanga Lodge.
Day 7: Ankarafantsika National Park After breakfast, depart to explore the Ankarafantsika national Park.
The Ankarafantsika National Park is the paradise of bird watchers and botanists. This semi-deciduous forest sanctuary is home to mostly endemic wildlife, with families of lemurs and birds. A red canyon like a sunset and a chain of sacred lakes will take you straight to heaven, a sensation that characterizes this region.
Overnight at Blue Vanga Lodge.
Day 8: Ankarafantsika – Antsohihy Breakfast and depart to Antsohihy via the national 4 & 6.
Overnight at Paradisier
Day 09: Antsohihy – Ankarana After breakfast, head to Ankarana. A first stop in Ambanja, considered as a strategic place for the production of cocoa, coffee, pepper and Ylang-ylang.
Arrival in Ankarana and check-in at the hotel.
Overnight at Soa Lodge
Day 10: Ankarana Reserve After breakfast, depart to visit the Ankarana national reserve. The reserve protects an impressive fauna and flora. You will explore the typical vegetation of the karst plateaus, characterised by meadows and invasive plants. The fauna will introduce you to more than 10 species of lemurs, 92 varieties of birds, including the "Varied Mesite", the rarest feathered animal in the world. Don't miss the chameleons, crocodiles and other animals living in the dark.

Day 11: Ankarana - Diego After Breakfast, depart to Diego Suarez
Overnight at hotel de la Poste
Day 12: Diego Mountain Amber Park – Diego Breakfast at the hotel and head to Joffreville to visit the Amber Mountain Park.
Covering an area of 18,200 ha, The Park is home to an endemic ecosystem, being covered by a dense dry forest in the east, a dense rainforest in the west and a dense mountain forest at the top. Several animal species found refuge there, including the crowned lemur and the mute Brookesia which hide under the foliage. This chameleon species is smaller than a thimble. A brown mouse lemur, the world’s smallest primate, may surprise you during your hike. The fosa, a small wild animal endemic to Madagascar, also inhabits the forest. The park has nearly seventy bird species and nearly twenty amphibians. It also shelters seven species of lemurs, amphibians, bats and mammals of all kinds
After the visit, your will be driven to Diégo.
Overnight at Hotel de la Poste
Day 13: Diego Suarez – Antananarivo After Breakfast you will be transferred to the Diego Suarez airport according to the flight schedule, for your flight back to Antananarivo.
Arrive in Antananarivo, you will be transferred to your hotel
Overnight at Niaouly
Day 14: Antananarivo- Lemur’s Park
After breakfast, depart to visit the Lemur’s Park
Lemurs' Park is located 25 km from the Capital. The lemur, symbol of the endemic fauna of the island of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean, is undeniably one of the most fascinating animals on our planet. Lemurs' Park was created with the aim of introducing this surprising animal to as many people as possible, to all nature and wildlife lovers, and to allow the lemurs born in the park to be reintroduced into their natural environment over the years and through the births.
This 5-hectare area, bordered by the Katsaoka River, is currently the home of 7 species of lemurs from different regions of Madagascar, as well as other essential representatives of Madagascar's fauna and flora.
Overnight at Niaouly
Day 15: Antananarivo Breakfast at the hotel, Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight Before reaching the airport, a short stop at the handcraft market for travel memories.
